ABOUT THE SINGER
A Creative Presence
German-born American Soprano, Amandine Edwards, graduated from The Crane School of Music in New York. She hails from a Military family, growing up in Europe before coming to the United States.
She has performed with the Crane Opera Ensemble, debuting as The Female Chorus in scenes from Britten’s The Rape of Lucretia, and later as one of the sisters in Gilbert and Sullivan’s The Pirates of Penzance.
1st place winner in the first round of the Classical Singer Competition, Advanced Undergraduate division in 2018, and 1st place winner of the North State Young Artist Competition in 2015.
She studied with Sherrill Milnes in his VoicExperience summer program and performed in scenes from Don Giovanni and Les Contes d’Hoffmann in the Savannah Voice Festival in 2014, and debuted with the Paradise Symphony Orchestra singing Violetta in 2013.

Performing as one of General Stanley's brood of silly Daughters in the Crane Opera Ensemble's spring production of Gilbert and Sullivan's The Pirates of Penzance.
THE RAPE OF LUCRETIA AND FALSTAFF
January - May 2016
Amandine Edward's debut performance with the Crane Opera Ensemble, in their spring opera scenes, where she performed the Female Chorus in scenes from Benjamin Britten's The Rape of Lucretia, and as a chorus member in the finale from Verdi's Falstaff.
DON GIOVANNI AND LES CONTES D'HOFFMANN
August 2014
As a part of the VOICExperience program, and the Savannah Voice Festival in 2014, Amandine took part in scenes from Don Giovanni by Mozart and Les Contes d'Hoffmann by Jacques Offenbach, where she played in a chorus of "Zerlinas" and "Giuliettas."
